Over the years our Thursday Fellowship has grown to an average attendance of 200 persons weekly, most of whom are widows. Bible based teachings, health education, and home keeping tips are held with gifts of food items and medicines for hypertension, diabetes and pain given to each indigent widow weekly with blood pressure monitoring at intervals. In line with teaching them how to fish and not just giving them fish, our Vocational Training Department ensures that some of these widows or their children who have no job or means of livelihood undergo our skills acquisition training and are set up in small scale manufacturing of dish washing liquid soap, antiseptics, air freshener, perfume, insecticides, beads-making and wire works, catering, hat making, make-up, and Gele tying. We now have an electronic machine for the production of liquid soap to enhance our training process. Our main focus since 2011 is to educate one child per indigent widow in a tertiary institution.
