“And it shall come to pass that just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, let your hands be strong.”(Zechariah 8:13)

“On that day I will gather you together and bring you home again. I will give you a good name, a name of distinction, among all the nations of the earth, as I restore your fortunes before their very eyes. I, the LORD, have spoken!” (Zephaniah 3:20)

ACTION: Speak! Let us believe God that every word He has spoken concerning us and our nations shall come to pass. Pa Elton’s words in 1986 were: “Nigeria and Nigerians will be known all over the world for corruption. Your name – Nigeria – will stink for corruption, but after a while a new phase will come – a phase of righteousness. Pray for the time of righteousness to come speedily.

PRAYER: Oh Lord, for the sake of Your obedient children, please have mercy and raise up a new Nigeria and righteousness in nations speedily. Also give us a good name, a name of distinction in all we do and restore our fortunes, in Jesus name Amen.
