God is Love

“He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” (1 John 4:8)

The Bible mentions the word ‘Love’ between 300 and 600 times, depending on the version. God’s Love for us is made clear in spoken and written word, in giving, availability, relationship, action and sacrifice. It leaves us without doubt that God loves us. God’s love is not the ‘feel good’ syndrome that sacrifices moral principles, but is holy, just and perfect, willing to give all sacrificially.

ACTION: Do you feel unloved? Reduce your expectations from man. Fill your emptiness and loneliness with acts of and for God. Only God can give us the unconditional love we desire, fill us and be available at all times.

PRAYER: Our Father and our God, please fill us with more of You, that we may love and express our love as You do, in Jesus name, Amen.
