“For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, But My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you.” (Isaiah 54:10NKJV)                            

“The mountains and hills may crumble, but my love for you will never end; I will keep forever my promise of peace.” So says the Lord who loves you.”(GNT)

What an awesome promise! In the physical, it is impossible for mountains to depart and hills be removed, but even if by a miracle the impossible happens, the Lord’s promise is that His kindness and love will never end and He will forever keep his promise of peace. And we know that His peace is not necessarily the absence of storms, but peace in the midst of the storms.

ACTION: Trust in God’s unfailing love and receive His peace at all times.

PRAYER: Thank You, Lord, for Your covenant of peace that passes all understanding. Please lift us up to soar like the eagle above whatever storms that life brings.
