“Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.”(Galatians 5:1)

When we believe, the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ sets us free from the bondage of sin and the Law. This is not freedom to indulge in selfish desires and laziness, but freedom to live above sin, the devil and the flesh, like Jesus; freedom to plant seeds of our time, talent and treasure for the Kingdom; freedom to work diligently and reap the fruit of our labour; freedom to live fulfilled lives in good health; freedom to love God and enter His presence at any time, and freedom to love and care for others. The grace of God which we freely receive by faith makes us victorious, wise and able to achieve the previously impossible.

ACTION: Write down God’s promise to you this season. Declare it in prayer daily till its manifestation. Trust and obey!

PRAYER: We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Jesus gives us victory for such a time as this.
