“The Lord said to my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool’.” (Psalm 110:1)

Jesus has fulfilled this verse: He is seated at God’s right hand and Yahweh is making His enemies His footstool. “Our life in this world is the same as Christ’s.” (1 John 4:17b) Really, what an awesome promise! God is putting our enemies – disease, poverty, troubles, worry – under our feet. Someday, when Jesus comes back to take His own to reign over all creation, rest and victory will be complete!

ACTION: Focus on the land of milk and honey- (the promises), not the giants –(challenges). We will trust God’s promises for such a time as this!

PRAYER: Father God, please grant us refreshing grace to eat joyfully at the banqueting table you prepare for us in the presence of our enemies. (Ps. 23:5). In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
