“But he (JESUS) was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.” (Isaiah 53:5)

Jesus paid the ultimate price of our transgressions with His life. He was pierced and crushed that we may be saved from our sins, have freedom and eternal life; He bore our griefs that we may have joy; He was wounded that we may receive healing; He endured the punishment that we may have peace. These gifts of salvation, joy, healing and peace are available and free. When contrary things come, let us stand firmly on God’s Word that never fails.

ACTION: Declare God’s Word and Bible verses to yourself daily!

PRAYER: Father God, thank You. Lord Jesus, thank You for setting us free from sin and death; healing past, present and future ailments; joy and peace. We receive them all in faith, in Jesus name Amen! We are free, filled with joy and peace at such a time as this!
