Jehovah Jireh- God our Provider

“All riches and wealth come from you; you rule everything by your strength and power; and you are able to make anyone great and strong.”       

(1 Chronicles 29:12)

We have lots of needs – food, shelter, clothing, jobs, money, rest, enjoyment, relationships, peace, significance, knowledge, etc. They never seem to be fully satisfied, and getting all of them can be very daunting. We should not focus on our needs only, but also on that of others. How can this be done? Focus on God as our Source as we work diligently. When God tested Abraham by asking him to sacrifice his son, he obeyed and God provided a ram in Isaac’s place, so Abraham called Him ‘Jireh’. God provides for us, makes us great and strong.

ACTION: Seek first the kingdom of God! Be diligent, dedicated and faithful.

PRAYER:O God our Great Provider, please reveal to us the secrets to Your kingdom provisions, in Jesus name, Amen.
