Jehovah El Shaddai

“When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to him and said, ‘I am El-Shaddai—God Almighty. Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life.I will make a covenant with you, by which I will guarantee to give you countless descendants.’”(Genesis 17:1-2 NLT)

God called Himself ‘All mighty’, greater than all, the only One who has the power and ability to meet our every need and make us who He wants and says, irrespective of age, colour, tribe, sex, or any other criteria. He created us for His pleasure and purpose as instruments of righteousness in his hands. He also promises to multiply us exceedingly, conditionally. He is Great!

ACTION: Condition for the fulfilment of this promise: “Serve me faithfully and live a blameless life.” (NLT); “Obey me and always do what is right.”(GNT)

PRAYER: Father God, please grant us grace to obey and serve you faithfully all the days of our lives.
