“The Spirit who is in you is more powerful than the spirit in those who belong to the world.” (1 John 4:4)

God’s Word is a powerful weapon against the enemy. That is why Jesus overcame all temptations through the Word in Him. Thankfully, the power of the Holy Spirit of God within us is greater than the evil, wickedness and challenges we see all around us. Without Jesus in us, evil would be stronger. However, filled with the Holy Spirit and the Word, we are more than conquerors.

ACTION: Read and commit the Word to memory; use the Word with confidence, without fear.  Be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER: Holy Spirit, please bring to our memory the Word we need at each moment of our lives, in Jesus name, Amen.
