“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua1:9)

Our courage comes from knowing and walking in God’s will by faith in the Lord’s person, promises and provisions. We are not afraid, even in shaky and stormy times and places, because “they that know their God, they shall be strong and do exploits; and as we wait on the Lord, our strength is renewed; we shall mount up with wings like eagles, we shall run and not be weary, we shall walk and not faint.” The Lord our God, who is with us wherever we go, is All-Knowing and All-powerful.

ACTION: We will not be afraid, because fear has torment but we will trust God.

PRAYER: Father God, we know You whom we have believed, and we are persuaded that You are able to keep us safe in Your arms. Thank You, Lord.
