“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.”  (James 1:17)

Really? All things belong to God. He gives good and perfect gifts to us and most often does not withdraw them, even when we are unfaithful. He is the Father of Lights who releases His goodness unto us, to overcome the evil of darkness. We can rest in the knowledge of God’s character- He is unchangeable, immutable and unwavering so in all situations we are more than conquerors through Christ.

ACTION: Trust and obey.

PRAYER: Almighty God, the Father of Lights, please keep our faith in You stable and strong.
