“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John14:27)

Our world is full of challenges. We seem to be in a continuous hurdle race. As one jumps over a hurdle to run a short while on level ground, it is time to jump over the next hurdle. At each stage of life, the type of hurdle may change but the obstacles to endless bliss are still there. Jesus took on our troubles so that in Him we may have peace in spite of the storms. In the midst of brutal crucifixion that seemed to be the end, the resurrection with the promise of eternal life was birthed. So it is with us. We have the assurance of victory at last.

ACTION: “Let not your heart be troubled, have peace” in Christ is a decision, not a condition. It is a decision to trust in Christ who leads us.

PRAYER: Father, we pray that as we stand on the Rock Jesus that never fails, we have peace so are more than conquerors.
