“Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!”(Romans 11:33NLT)
Tozer defined wisdom thus: Wisdom, among other things, is the ability to devise perfect ends and to achieve those ends by the most perfect means. It sees the end from the beginning, so there can be no need to guess or conjecture. Wisdom sees everything in focus, each in proper relation to all, and is thus able to work toward predestined goals with flawless precision1. With this definition it is clear that we have limited wisdom and only God is infinitely, consistently and perfectly wise. This means that whatever God does is the wisest and best thing for us.
ACTION: Knowing that only God is infinitely wise, we must determine to follow His direction to the letter, even when we do not understand it.
PRAYER: Lead us in wisdom in our daily affairs, Oh Lord, that we may make good judgements and wise decisions, in Jesus name, Amen.
