“The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to go on the heights.” (Habakkuk 3:19)

The world may be evil and confusing, filled with difficult times where evil people seem to prosper and the righteous suffer. Yet our Sovereign God will give us sure-footed confidence in His promise of ultimate victory of good over evil, and the enablement to be lifted to great heights.  Mahatma Gandhi said, “When I despair, I remember that all through history the way of truth and love has always won. There have been tyrants and murderers and for a time they seem invincible, but in the end, they always fall… think of it, always.”

ACTION: Be confident, run like the deer across rough and dangerous terrain, and live as more than conquerors in the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit!

PRAYER: Lord, please grant us grace to access your promise of victory today.
