“Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer! The word I speak will come to pass, declares the sovereign Lord.’” (Ezekiel 12:28 NET)

“And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the LORD your God.”(Deuteronomy 28:2)

ACTION: Sometimes disobedience is not necessarily sinful acts, but acts of omission of good deeds. Obey the Word of God fully, out of love, and with the expectation of His blessings. Do not worry about anything especially things you cannot control.

PRAYER: Thank You, Sovereign Lord, for all Your promised blessings. Please grant us grace to obey You completely, so that none of these promises will be delayed in our lives. Even more importantly, dear Lord, help us to remember that Jesus may come any day without further warning, like a thief in the night. God is Sovereign!
