“for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.”(Deuteronomy 20:4)

In whom or in what is our confidence to overcome daily challenges? God or man? Ngozi went in for the O’ Level mock Physics exam confidently but a misunderstanding of a question brought tears and fears when she came out. She had answered the question wrongly, even though she knew the right answer. Our confidence in our ability sometimes fails us, but biblical records and our own experiences show us that our God Almighty never fails. And we have His great promise that He is with us and fights against our enemies to save us. The situations could range from the Holy Spirit focusing us in an exam to saving our lives from physical danger. 

ACTION: Fear not, trust and obey God.

PRAYER: Father God, please go before us, guide and fight for us, so that we will be more than conquerors when we have to fight necessary battles.
