“No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”(1 Corinthians 10:13)

Everyone goes through temptations but not everyone falls into temptation. If we rely on God, He promises to help us. Fleeing from situations and people that expose us to temptation is wisdom from God. This includes what we watch or listen to. The Bible tells us to intentionally think about things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely and of good report, for as a man thinketh, so is he. 

ACTION: Pray for God’s help before and during temptation. Have a trustworthy and responsible friend who can pray along with you.

PRAYER: Father God, please give us sincere hearts that are willing to give up the worldly gains of sin to honour You with our obedience, in Jesus name, Amen. Living a holy life is being more than a conqueror!
