“Then it came to pass the seventh time, that he said, ‘There is a cloud, as small as a man’s hand, rising out of the sea!’  1 Kings 18:44

“So he went down and dipped seven times in the Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God; and his flesh was restored like the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.” (2 Kings 5:14)

ACTION: The seven times is more likely a lesson in persistence than a ritual. Let us have faith that God will do what He says and be obedient to His Word. Let us be like the persistent widow before the unjust Judge in the Gospel (Luke 18:1-8) who patiently and consistently continued with her plea till she got her answer. Do not give up in prayer or in action.

PRAYER: Our Father and our God, thank You for life and Your promises. Please grant us grace to persist. We pray for Your light to overcome any darkness in our lives. We call forth Your healing for any sickness and Your rain of favour, growth and fruitfulness in dry areas. In Jesus name we pray, Amen. Jesus is the Answer!
