“And it came to pass on the morrow, that the firstborn said unto the younger, Behold, I lay yesternight with my father: let us make him drink wine this night also; and go thou in, and lie with him, that we may preserve the seed of our father.”(Genesis 19:34)
“Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No! They were not at all ashamed, Nor did they know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among those who fall; In the time of their punishment. They shall be cast down,” says the Lord.”(Jeremiah 8:12)
ACTION: Let us not allow our consciences to be so seared that we are not ashamed to commit things that are abominations, for the consequences are grave. Follow Jesus not the crowd.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, please look upon us with mercy and not judgement. Grant us also the grace to call sin by its name, rather than sweet but deceitful names, in Jesus name, Amen. God is merciful but just!
