“And it came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.”(Acts 28:8)

^“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18)

ACTION: We should be like Paul and not allow the challenges of life be a hindrance to our efforts to evangelize. In spite of being a prisoner who had just been shipwrecked, Paul continued to minister to the needs of all around him. Through the healings, many received Christ and the gospel spread rapidly.

PRAYER: Father thank you for your promise of these signs that follow us who believe. We ask for courage and faith to activate them such that more and more will be set free to accept the saving power of Christ. Jesus is a Miracle Worker!
