“Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.” (Luke 21:36)

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)

ACTION: Watch and pray! The most critical times to seek support of other Christians is when we are weak, lonely or troubled. These are the times the devil can more easily isolate and attack us, the way a lion does to helpless animals.

PRAYER: Our Father in heaven, thank You for life in such a time as this. Holy Spirit, please kindle in us a burden for prayer at all times, most especially at times of weakness. Do not allow us to shift our focus away from Christ, in Jesus name, Amen. Jesus is our Deliverer!
