FROM SORROW TO BLESSEDNESS (3)

“Then he said, “Let me go, for the day has broken.” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.”  And he said to him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Jacob.”  Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.””

ACTION:  Whatever processes you may have passed through and names you have acquired from your circumstances, determine, by God’s grace to live honourably and work out God’s purpose in your life daily! 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

PRAYER: Father, I thank you because your thoughts for me are thoughts of peace and not evil. I declare myself triumphant in you, through the victory of Jesus on the cross!
