22 FEBRUARY
NOTABLE WOMEN (3)
(THE CRIPPLED WOMAN)
“One Sabbath day as Jesus was teaching in a synagogue, he saw a woman who had been crippled by an evil spirit.
She had been bent double for eighteen years and
was unable to stand up straight.”
(Luke 13:10-11, NLT)
The enemy had stolen her health (John 10:10) but she had refused to let him steal her joy and peace. She was not discouraged, not bitter and blamed no one. She carried her pain with dignity. She set off early that Sabbath morning and after many tortuous hours she finally arrived at the synagogue just in time for the opening prayers.
ACTION: Whatever the enemy has stolen from you or killed and destroyed in you, Jesus has paid the price for your recovery and restoration. Believe and trust Him, and all will be well.
PRAYER: Lord I believe in your healing and restorative power; please, glorify yourself in my situation.
