SHE HEARD THE HYMN

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

(John 3:16)

A hymn brought a revival in the hearts of people in Danville, California in 1879. On listening to it, a popular lady was deeply touched and decided not to delay any longer but to follow Christ. She, her husband and children publicly accepted Christ a few days later and through them many others were brought to the saving power of Jesus Christ. Whatever brings us to find Christ – a hymn, a preaching, a testimony, a challenge – it is most important that we grow in knowledge and obedience.

ACTION: Come to the Saviour; do not delay any longer! Come to the love of Jesus that never fails, always satisfies.  Obey the Saviour, do not delay any longer!

PRAYER: Dear Lord, fill me with grace to obey you completely.
