CREATION BEARS WITNESS

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made.” (John 1:1–3)

“John testified about him when he shouted to the crowds, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’” From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ. ” (John 1:15–17)

The sun was just rising in the skies

The shrubs and trees lined the paths

The sounds of croaking of the frogs

The sounds of singing of the birds

Bringing alive the mystery of creation

I slept as usual, oblivious of all happenings

I woke as usual, counting my blessings

I rose as usual, peeping through the blinds

I looked as usual, at the splashing of the waves
