GOD’S LOVE SONG

“The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.” 

(Zephaniah 3:17)

What wonderful words! The Lord is with me:  in my joys, successes and challenges, even in my darkest times. Even through the valley of the shadow of death, He is with me! ALWAYS!

God is the Mighty Warrior who saves me:  from sin, sickness, hunger, irreversible mistakes, destruction, battles seen and unseen, eternal damnation, ALWAYS!

God will take great delight in me: in what I do and say, in who He has made me to be ALWAYS!

In His Love, God will no longer rebuke me: His love covers a multitude of my sins; He will remember my confessed sins no more! He is pure, holy and just but more of my loving Father than the stern and strict Father waiting to punish errors.

God will rejoice over me with singing: How glorious, to imagine and know that God rejoices over me with singing! I wonder what songs He is singing?

“You are my treasured possession”. “I will never leave you or forsake you”. “I have loved you with an everlasting love, with loving kindness have I drawn you to me”…   

ACTION: Cultivate the habit of thanksgiving to God for His unfailing love.

PRAYER: Thank you Lord for your love! May I love you too ALWAYS!
