“I say to the Lord, ‘You are my Adonai; all the good things I have come from you.’” (Psalm 16:2)

Adonai is Lord, Master, Owner! Adonai is more of a relationship than just a name. It signifies God’s total possession of us and our total submission. Adonai signals a call to service. Is He your Lord? Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Isaiah and most of the prophets called him Adonai. Adonai is Jesus Christ! Adonai is the owner of all that exists. Do we allow Him to direct our lives in all things? Adonai as Master supplies all our needs, including supernatural empowerment for service.

ACTION: We must serve and submit to Him in such loving obedience that our lives show His Lordship.

PRAYER: Jesus Christ is my Adonai at such a time as this.
