“But we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves.” (Romans 15:1 LEB)

Do we see ourselves as strong and therefore have no tolerance for those who are weak? Lucy’s company had just offered a young girl employment as a sales girl when an empty but big plastic container was delivered and needed to be brought in. Both of them stood by the door as Lucy looked at her in expectation. She drew back in fear, expecting it was heavy. Lucy moved forward lifting it up to bring it in and the girl quickly launched forward to take it from her. They both burst out laughing. We should act in wisdom and love. Offer help not condemnation to the weak to pull them out of Satan’s grip.

ACTION: Give a helping hand to the weak to build them up in the faith.

PRAYER: Oh Lord, please help us not to be too critical, or just people-pleasers but to seek to be people-builders for such a time as this!
