“And it came to pass when Israel was strong, that they put the Canaanites to tribute, and did not utterly drive them out”. (Judges 1:28)

“They stopped worshiping the Lord and served the Baals and the Astartes. And so the Lord became furious with Israel and let raiders attack and rob them. He let the enemies all around overpower them, and the Israelites could no longer protect themselves”. (Judges 2:13-14)

ACTION: Obey God and his Word completely, not according to compromised understanding. Do not try to justify your actions when they are contrary to the Word of God, even when it seems to be in your power to do so. Incomplete obedience is disobedience! And disobedience has consequences!

PRAYER: Our Father and our God, thank You for giving us the Bible to guide us. We pray that we will drive away, give up or let go of greed, pride, or anything that will cause us to compromise our Christian faith; in Jesus name, Amen. God is just!
