“And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, ‘Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be tomorrow about this time in the gate of Samaria.” 2 Kings 7:18

If we say, ‘We will enter the city,’ the famine is in the city, and we shall die there. And if we sit here, we die also. Now therefore, come, let us surrender to the army of the Syrians. If they keep us alive, we shall live; and if they kill us, we shall only die.”(2 kings 7:3)

ACTION: Declare God’s Word, not your feelings or based on circumstances. Make bold choices as the lepers made. They went to the enemy camp for food in time of famine and the prophecy of plenty in 24hours was fulfilled. ‘May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears’ – Nelson Mandela                 

PRAYER: Our Father God, as you delivered the Israelites from the Syrians, please deliver us in Nigeria and other countries that lack peace and prosperity. Lord, please fight for us and grant us inner peace at all times, in Jesus name, Amen. Jesus is our mighty man of war!
