“And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.” (Luke 11:27)

“But He said, ‘More than that, blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!’” (Luke 11:28)

ACTION: Let us strive to raise our children in such a way that people will bless us as a result of their words and actions. However, even though family values, integrity in the market place, wisdom and knowledge are very important, it is even more so to read, hear and obey the Word of God and apply the word of God to our decisions and actions.

PRAYER: Lord, please grant us the wisdom to set high but attainable family standards that we ourselves can keep. Give us the grace to obey You too.
