SECRETS OF ANSWERED PRAYERS (3) 
(GOD’S CHARACTER)

“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”

(Lamentations 3:22-23, NKJV)

We make our prayer requests and expect answers, based on God’s unchanging character—His compassions and His faithfulness. We are sure that God will answer us when we call upon him and He will do what He says He will do. In the midst of the storms, the challenges of temptations, the joys and successes of life, our hope is secure and immovable, anchored on God’s nature and promises which are immutable.

This chorus echoes the truth of God’s omnipotence, faithfulness and compassions:

He’s bigger than all my problems, bigger than all my fears;

God is bigger than any mountain that I can or cannot see.

Oh, yes, he’s bigger than all my questions, bigger than anything;

God is bigger than any mountain that I can or cannot see.

Jesus lived as man and suffered like us; so He feels and understands our pain. He is compassionate and his faithfulness is forevermore. Our God is a faithful God, loving, wonderful, merciful and compassionate. God can and is willing to solve any problem!

ACTION: Believe that God understands and will answer you because that is His character.

PRAYER: Dear Father, I believe and trust in your unfailing mercies and faithfulness. Thank You.
