“And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, …And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.” (Exodus 2:23-24)
“Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.’” (Luke 22:20)
ACTION: Has something changed that has brought a burden or bondage on you? Cry and groan to God, our Covenant-Keeper!
PRAYER: Our Father and our God, thank You for Your new covenant of life and love, sealed with the blood of Jesus. Thank You because it cleanses us from sin and gives us access to Your throne and eternity. Holy Spirit, please make intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered(Romans 8:26) by reason of our burdens and bondages. Jesus is the mediator of our new covenant!
