“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you”. (John 14:26)

Idah diligently read her Bible daily, sometimes till late into the night, with her Reference Bible spread out to search, meditate and memorize verses. She lived for Christ and His service. Little did she envisage that a day would come, as she aged, when illness would make her so drowsy that she could no longer read her Bible. Faithfully, the Holy Spirit reminded her of all she had learnt. She sustained her fellowship with the Lord she loved dearly till she was called home to a glorious reunion with Him. Many die suddenly, some in their prime. Are you ready? This Holy Spirit reminder may apply for worldly living, but it also reminds us to use lessons from the Bible in fulfilling spiritual assignments. It also prevents us from falling into deceit and neglecting God and our purpose.

ACTION: Build your lives on the Word and build the Word into your lives.

PRAYER: Lord, give us supernatural understanding of the Scriptures for such a time as this.
