“I urge you…..to live a life that measures up to the standard God set when he called you”. (Ephesians 4:1 GNT)

Dupe always won the prize for Best House Captain. At her school’s inter House Sports competition, she was cheered by most, in the sack race for house captains, but to her great disappointment, she came last and lost marks for her House. Though much loved, none of her team could help her run this race. Thank God, however, that it is not by our power that we run the Christian race but by his grace – His ability in us that enables us to do those things which we ordinarily cannot do on our own. It is a great privilege to be a Christian – Christ’s very own, the image of Christ, representative of Christ, behave and live like Christ. It is also a great responsibility to live a life worthy of the calling we have received, and we have a responsibility to make a diligent effort to do so.

ACTION: Live it up! Live a life that measures up to the standard God set when he called you.
PRAYER: Oh Lord, please let our life reflect our faith at such a time as this!
