“For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.” (Isaiah 55:12)

Sometimes when I take a walk in the mornings, I look in awe at the trees and plants along the road. I have noticed that during the rainy season, whenever the clouds gather just before it rains, the breeze starts gently and as the speed increases causing the trees to sway, the sounds move from slight rustling into a crescendo, almost like the sounds of clapping of hands. Awesome God! With joy and peace, we shall be set free from anything, person, sin, character deficit, that has held us captive. We shall be directed by the gracious and powerful presence of God. Our blessings shall be visible to all, such that all creation shall rejoice and worship God in thanksgiving with us.

ACTION: We must trust God’s plans, as that is the secret of our joy and peace.

PRAYER: Please Lord, guide us in the path of joy and peace at such a time as this.
