“Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, ‘Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it’.” (Numbers 13:30)

We pronounce silence against the voice of opposition and voices contrary to God’s purpose in our lives and circumstances. Caleb and Joshua alone silenced ten voices of opposition. They saw what God saw – a land of milk and honey– and determined to trust what God said – they are well able to overcome the giants.

 We determine to trust God’s promises and move out in faith to go up and possess the land and promises God has shown us and given to us. Do what we have to do! We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

ACTION: Focus and act on what God says and not what you see, even if you stand alone.

PRAYER: Lord, please give us peace and victory as we obey your word at such a time as this.
