“And the hand of the Israelites grew stronger and stronger against Jabin king of Canaan, until they had destroyed him. Then Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam sang on that day, saying: . . . ”(Judges 4:23-5:1)

The song of Deborah and Barak started with: “when the princes take the lead, when the people willingly offer themselves .. ..” They acknowledged that God and His creation – the earth, heavens, clouds, rain, stars, mountains -all took part to ensure victory. God’s creation is still doing the same for us to fulfil God’s will in our lives, when we willingly offer ourselves. Alleluia!

ACTION: Offer yourself willingly for God’s work; Sing praises and acknowledge the power of God and His creation in victories, life and blessings. SING!!!

PRAYER: O God our Father, thank You that the whole of creation fights our battles, ensuring many victories and blessings. Please, grant us grace to be under the right spiritual leaders; grant us godly leaders in every sphere of life  for such a time as this! In Jesus name, Amen.
