“Suddenly there was a violent earthquake; an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled the stone away, and sat on it.” (Matthew 28:10)

Another earthquake? Yes again. One had occurred as Jesus gave up His ghost on the cross – definitely an unquestionable divine occurrence. Jesus is risen, just as he said he would! Did Jesus need the stone rolled away to come out of the tomb? No, He passed through walls after His resurrection. It seems the women needed it to enter to confirm that the tomb is empty and that Jesus is risen. These diligent and dedicated women became the first to see the risen Jesus, because they inconvenienced themselves to honour Christ with the plan to anoint His body to preserve him.

ACTION: Be where God wants you to be, say what He wants you to say and do what He wants you to do!

PRAYER: Lord, thank You for this great miracle of the resurrection of Jesus for our salvation. Every stone of hindrance is rolled away at such a time as this!
