“The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you”.(John 14:26)

Will the Holy Spirit teach us everything? How to play our role in family, ministry, home, school and work? YES! But look at the next phrase: you can only remember what you have learnt, read or been taught. The Holy Spirit will plant the understanding in our minds as we study, or are taught, especially the Bible and even in school and work. He will remind us when we stray or need it. For School and Work, Dr. Ben Carson in his book, ‘Gifted Hands’ shared outstanding experiences of the teaching and reminders of the Holy Spirit that made him excel in his exams.

ACTION: Ask the Holy Spirit to teach and guide you as you study, work, practice and obey in all areas of life.

PRAYER: Holy Spirit, please teach us. Grant us hearts that listen and obey, and wisdom to excel in all things, in Jesus name, Amen. The Holy Spirit teaches and reminds us of God’s will and truth for such a time as this!
