“So it came to pass, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favour in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden sceptre that was in his hand.” (Esther 5:2)

“For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favour You will surround him as with a shield” (Psalm 5:12)

ACTION: When tough, even life-threatening challenges arise, as in Esther’s time, let us fast and pray as we live in righteousness. Then let us take action as directed by the Holy Spirit, confident that the favour of God will make us overcome.       

PRAYER: Almighty God our Father, thank You for blessing us and clothing us with the righteousness of Christ. Please give us boldness and always surround us with favour as a shield according to your word, in Jesus name, Amen. The Lord Jesus is my banner!
