“And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the (rain)bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.” (Genesis 9:14-15)

“Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments.” (Deuteronomy 7:9 NKJV)

ACTION: Each time we see the rainbow in the sky when it rains, let us remember it is a sign of God’s faithfulness to His Word, especially the covenant that He will never again destroy the earth with a flood. It is important to raise our generations to know and love God, and keep his commandments.

PRAYER: Oh Lord, please grant us the knowledge to understand the signs of Your faithfulness in the heavens and the earth. We are grateful for Your covenant and mercy, not just to us but up to our thousandth generation.
