THE SECRETS REVEALED (3)

“The mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”(Colossians 1:26-27)

Christ in us, the hope of glory! To all who believe in our Lord Jesus Christ, God reveals the secret that Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, lives in our hearts! But for others – because they do not believe – He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, “lest they see with their eyes, and understand with their heart” (John 12:40, KJV)

Have you watched the award-winning Disney musical, “The Lion King”? A great transformation comes upon the lion cub, Simba, when he is told that the spirit of his dead father lives on in him and he is a future king. From a fearful cub searching for his identity in a foreign land, he becomes a courageous and determined lion who fights for and gets back his throne.

The power of Christ, through the Holy Spirit living in our hearts, brings great transformation to our lives, as we live here on earth on our pilgrim’s journey to our heavenly Kingdom, to take our place as triumphant saints here on earth and in the world to come! That is a mystery which had been hidden for generations but now revealed. The Holy Spirit reveals awesome things that we cannot see with our natural eyes.

ACTION: Search the Word of God, especially the books of Colossians and Ephesians, to discover more revelations about your privileged position, power and authority in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER: Help me, Lord, to be transformed by the wonderful revelations about my life in your Word!
