GOD LAUGHS

“Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the Lord and against his anointed one. “Let us break their chains,” they cry,  “and free ourselves from slavery to God.” But the one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them. Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury.”

When people are so wicked and disobedient that they plot against the children of God and reject all opportunities to repent, God laughs and mocks, as He gives them up to destruction, disaster or calamity.

ACTION: God says, “If anyone stirs up strife, it is not from me; whoever stirs up strife with you shall fall because of you” (Isaiah 54:15). When God laughs, we laugh because we know we have victory. Cheer up, then – you are unconquerable!

PRAYER: Thank you Lord, because you are my Defender, and no weapon formed against me shall prosper!
