“Let us hold on firmly to the hope we profess, because we can trust God to keep his promise.” (Hebrews 10:23 GNT)

Our hope of eternal salvation (John 3:16) as well as abundant life here on earth (John 10:10) is not hinged on the ephemeral but on the everlasting faithfulness of God, who has promised. As such, we should hold on firmly, not shakily or fearfully but overcoming doubts and questions by deepening our trust and relationship with Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. This we do with prayers, meditating on Scriptures and allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us.

ACTION: Let us hold on to His Word for our lives, family, ministry, country. Let us praise and worship God always, confident that He will keep His promise.

PRAYER: Our Father and our God, please break down the chains and gates that bar us from entering into the fullness of Your promises as You did for Paul and Silas in prison. In Jesus name, Amen. We know that You will do what You say You will do for us at such a time as this!
