“Then God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God relented from the disaster that He had said He would bring upon them”.               (Jonah 3:10)

Bon was having extramarital affairs with two women, one of whom was married. Both got into a fight over him in the village market. A friend alerted Bon and he immediately left the village. He knew he was in a mess as he couldn’t imagine what the angry husband would do to him. He went into Church, knelt down, and surrendered his life totally to Christ. He turned the mess into the message of the gospel and shared it with different groups, winning souls to Christ. The people of Nineveh were wicked and God sent Jonah to warn them about impending destruction. However, they repented, turned away from their evil ways, so God changed their hopelessness to hope.

ACTION: Receive Christ’s message of life and hope for such a time as this.

PRAYER: Our Father, please grant us the grace to accept correction humbly.
