A PRAYER FOR WEEK 8

“Jesus asked, what is the Kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it with? It is like a mustard seed which a man took and put in his garden; and it grew and became a large tree, and the birds of the air nested in its branches.” (Luke 13:18-19)
Please pray this prayer for others by name as we pray for you this week:

• that you will nurture the gifts of God within you, watering it with prayer and the Word, no matter how small it seems, so that it grows to touch other lives.
• that you will weed away your character deficits; and
• that you will prune away unnecessary things in our life;
• that you will enable the seed of God in you to grow to bear fruits so as to build and strengthen a community of believers; in Jesus name, Amen.

ACTION: Nurture the seed of God in us at such a time as this!
