“You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”(1 John 4:4. NKJV)                   

There is a lot of evil and wickedness in the world that creates problems that sometimes overwhelm us. However, we must always remember that our battle against evil, temptation and challenges is not by might but by God’s spirit in us. These may include everyday expected and unexpected challenges; chronic, undiagnosed sickness; uncontrollable infections and pandemics such as we have seen recently. The power of the Holy Spirit in us is greater than the evil and false spirit in the world. We are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us.

ACTION: We are victorious through the greater power of the Spirit of God in us for such a time as this.

PRAYER: Our Father and our God, please grant us grace to stand, confident on your Word and the power of the Holy Spirit within us.
