”Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you”. (1 Peter 5:7)

In the first few months of the Corona virus pandemic, there was a lot of fear the world over. The world powers had no solutions. The daily news brought more fear as many people died. Many hospitals shut their doors to any one with the listed symptoms. Even those with chronic diseases that needed monitoring were not allowed into the hospitals. Adhoc centres were set up and medical personnel were trained on how to protect themselves while treating patients. Many stayed indoors, food and supplies were scarce. It took deliberate efforts to cast our cares on the Lord and trust Him to guide us and control the destruction. After a few months of fervent prayers, God’s solutions were manifested. Vaccines were discovered, manufactured and administered, and the numbers of deaths began to go down.

ACTION: We should not submit to circumstances but actively cast our worries and struggles unto the Lord, who controls the circumstances.

PRAYER: Lord we cast our anxieties on You at such a time as this.
